Karlsruhe, 07.07.2020. The period panty provider femtis is now supporting the educational work of the Endometriosis Association Germany e.V.
The Endometriosis Association Germany e.V. is an association that was founded 24 years ago by women with endometriosis. Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus e.g. on the ovaries, in the intestine or in the abdomen. This can lead to considerable pain. Signs of endometriosis are severe menstrual pain, exhaustion or even an unfulfilled desire to have children.
The association supports women with endometriosis throughout Germany and wants to educate about the clinical picture.
femtis supports the goals of the association and promotes the association's work by distributing flyers, social media measures, etc.
Judith Barensteiner from femtis: “Endometriosis is a disease that needs medical treatment. The disease is unknown to many people, we want to change that. We are therefore very pleased to be able to support the educational work of the Endometriosis Association".
Further information on endometriosis, addresses of self-help groups, experienced doctors, etc. is available on the association's website: https://www.endometriose-vereinigung.de
